We had an excellent experience with the Boiler Replacement Company Essex. We had our 20 year old floor standing boiler that was situated in the loft, replaced with a new Valiant ecofit pure 430. Matthew took the time to explain why he recommended said boiler and saved us money as I was pushing for a bigger boiler which he explained why we didn’t need. Fantastic service. Our boiler was condemned on a Tuesday morning, we rang Matt who came round that same afternoon. We were told by someone else that we would need to pull part of our kitchen out so that a new flue could be fitted. Matt disagreed with everything we had been told and assured us he could get it sorted. On the Wednesday morning Matt had contacted us and we were given a price for the job, he then booked us in for the Saturday morning. In total we were left without heating for only 4 days as he worked on his weekend. Couldn’t rate Matt enough, he is quick, reliable and friendly. We will only use him from now on.

On 9th & 10th March I had a Potterton Suprima & Gledhill Boilermate 2000 replaced with an ATAG Economise IC39 combi boiler. Matt & Dan arrived early and worked flat out over the 2 days. Mat arrived on time went straight to the Job stripped the boiler down replaced the parts needed informed us of all what he had done. He was professional and polite at all times and answered our question he also set us up for yearly maintenance. He left everything clean and tidy. He posted us the gas certificate which we had never been given before by the previous service company. He also advised us to have a carbon monoxide alarm fitted and to secure the flue in the loft better.We are very impressed with his manner and helpfulness and look forward to seeing him for the next maintenance.

Can’t praise higher. We have had an intermittent problem for months that 4 different engineers looked at without fixing. Finally called The Boiler Replacement Company and after a lot of investigation fixed an issue in the boiler and detected another issue with the regulator on the meter. Then came back when Cadent arrived to work with them to ensure the work on the meter resulted in good readings in the boiler, which it did.

We used to have an over-complex, difficult to maintain, church heating solution that frequently failed. Matt did an excellent job of designing and implementing a new, much simpler solution for two church halls, coffee lounge, lobby, office and toilet facilities. Matt's design recognized the need for utilizing existing plumbing while also changing the heating zone configurations to improve operational performance. We now look forward to reduced operational cost through the two new Atag boilers with 10 year warranty, improved zoning and control systems. I had my boiler and water tanks removed and replaced with a combi boiler.From the start, getting quotes online to having the boiler installed, I felt that I was in safe hands with Matt. I felt comfortable to ask questions and he even encouraged it, even the silly ones.Matt and Dan were professional throughout, arriving on time and keeping me informed of the progress of the works. They cleaned up as they went along which meant that after they left each evening, I was still able to use my kitchen. They even went above and beyond in helping my rescue my cat that got spooked under a cabinet in the kitchen.They wore PPE the whole time they were at my home and I felt comfortable continuing with work while they fitted the boiler.They did a beautiful job at keeping my kitchen intact, when removing the ties to get to the old pipe work. and manged to save them so I can reuse them to cover the new pipe work.I would highly recommend this company and look forward to continuing to use their services in the future. Found an absolute gem in Matt Baker. Arrived early for a start, not something I've usually experienced with tradesmen. Installed a new lavatory n cistern, replaced 30 year old taps, nightmare to remove, serviced boiler remedying quite serious existing problems which had been overlooked by previous tradesman. Matt went over and above all that was asked of him, the "extra mile" in fact, a very rare thing in this present climate I'm afraid. Cannot recommend him nor sing his praises highly enough. I cannot fault the work done by Mat accompanied by Dan. Mat identified the primary problem was the pump but I also wanted the boiler serviced and on his recommendation the heating system flushed and re-balanced. The performance of the system was immediately improved and to date everything continues to work well.An appointment was made, the guys turned up on time and the work was done within the day. After years of struggling with our old boiler we made the decision to have it replaced. We contacted a few companies to obtain quotes. Friends of mine, an elderly couple, contacted me for advice after having their gas turned off at their meter for a leak detected within their property. This meant no heating when it was still cold. The leak was discovered during work to install a new gas main along their road. To make matters worse, the contractors called in gas engineers who condemned my friends’ boiler too when it had been working okay. I called Mat who responded quickly and arrived exactly when he said he would. He soon identified and fixed the leak and upgraded the internal pipework to meet current gas regulations. He then restarted the boiler, did the necessary checks for carbon monoxide etc and to date it’s been running fine. My friends were delighted with the service Mat gave, and thought his bill was very reasonable.

I recently had my annual boiler service completed by Mat Baker from the Boiler Replacement Company. On arrival Mat was friendly yet professional and laid out what was required for the service along with the cost, which I found to be good value compared to other quotes I had. Additional I had some other small jobs that needed doing to complete a new bathroom install and Mat completed this work in a timely manner and to a high standard. I had my boiler replaced and moved from the kitchen to upstairs bathroom, and water tank was removed, so it was a big job over 3 days. Great service from start to finish - reliable, punctual, and Mat provided two quotes so I could compare options. No pressure to book so I could take my time to think about it. The work itself was completed within the time frame given and the amount I paid exactly what I was quoted. Significantly less cost than British gas quote! Lots of contact throughout so I knew exactly what was happening and when - definitely recommend this company. I was nervous about getting it done but so glad I did as my heating, hot water and radiators are now so much better. Roll on winter!
